I use the clean channel with reverb, and delay, but some like the acoustic channel.
The 50W setting is plenty most of the time unless the band's volume is up. |

You have a combo and i have the head only. You have a different guitar and grear than me, so there are variables. You are going to have to experiment. There are on!y three EQ controls, this should make things easier.
It seems to be a toss up as to clean vs. acoustic setting I prefer acoustic but that doesn't mean you will also. use the 50 watt setting. I set bass at 3 o'c!ock, mid at 11 o'clock, and treble at 1 o'clock. Reverb to taste, around 2 o'clock. I don't use the delay, but try it around 9 o'clock. Do a search for the video Ron Hogan did at Nashville Steel Guitars. Watch him set and explain the controls. He also has a !ot of other videos on the forum using the Katana. |

I'm just getting to know the amp right now. Right now I'm Acoustic mode with the Bass at 3 o'clock, the middle at 11 o'clock, treble at 1 o'clock, presence at 1 o'clock and Reverb anywhere from 1 to 3 o'clock. I'm playing a MSA Classic D10. I may be buying an old Sho-Bud tomorrow. It will interesting to see if my settings change much for it. |
