The guitar I had bought from Gary Phillips was severely damaged in shipping back to Rains (Bob was going to put two more knees and my copedent on it). Since Bob Rains knew I really wanted a "Spirit" model, he is giving me credit for what I paid Gary toward a new guitar. I would love to get a Rosewood mica (think of that pic of Bill Simmons Emmons) but Bob told me this morning that he may not be able to get Rosewood mica.
I have a gloss black Emmons at present so I really don't want another black guitar. I'm hoping you guys who have Rains, will post pics or email me pics of your guitars.
Thanks!

Ken,
I'll tell you what I'm working on at present. I bought a southern gospel CD set at Wally World a while back and it had "Release Me" on it by the Kingsmen quartet. Not the Ray Price version but the gospel version. I located an old 1954 copy of "Hillbilly and Cowboy Hit Parade" and found "Release Me" in it. I copied the gospel lyrics to the sheet music and I'm planning to tab it out. The Rains might be the guitar to try it out on!
