Still waiting

for the PSG. I was told two weeks ago it would be done in a week. Haven't heard a word since then. I have been saving up again to just go buy one. I kinda gave up on this one and the money spent. It will be another two months before I have enough saved up to finally purchase a guitar, and this time I will buy one that is already built. I hyperextended two fingers on my left hand about two months ago and still can't play six string. Would be nice to have that PSG around now.

Cryptic

Pretty cryptic post. Is it an extension of the "Carl Heatly" thread?

I think he bought a steel from HWSNBNOTF (He Who Shall Not Be Named On The Forum). Also known as He who never delivers.

If I could just get some answers. If I am being ripped off just tell me and life goes on. I can chalk it up to exp., 700.00 is not going to break me. But I still don't have a guitar. This BSing me just keeps me on hold. Man up. At lest I was man enough to send him his parts back, I should probably have kept them and sold them but I can't do those kinds of things.

naming names is not going to help anyone. I have been told one other gent has been waiting at least two years so I am not getting any hopes up.

I am sorry to have to use this forum as the only means of maybe lighting a fire under someones butt, I don't seem to have many options. Anyway, enough is enough, you all know the story by now, no sense beating a dead horse. I will drop it and forget about it and move on. Obviously I will not be contacted and maybe a guitar will show up at my door and maybe it won't. If it does I just hope it gets here before I spring for another one.

I have been hesitant to jump in on these threads until I saw how things panned out. However at some point it's important to speak out to let people know what's really going on.

I realize the Forum is not a place for bad-mouthing people, but at the same time that makes folks so hesitant to say anything that information doesn't get out when truly bad things are happening.

I was one of the customers also affiliated with this scam from Carl Heatley and I verified with three other forum members that were also doing business with him that Carl had each person send payment to a different PayPal account (most accounts didn't even have his name affiliated to the account). He also and encouraged all of us to send the money "as friends and family" rather than for "goods and services". Luckily I sent the money for goods and services so I was able to file a claim and get my money back.

At the end of the day I truly believe he's a con man and I cannot see any logical reason why a person would use a different PayPal account for every transaction they do business for unless they are up to no good.

Additionally I am fairly certain that Jerry Dragon who has been having many problems and has also been the leader on these threads was manufacturing all the parts for Carls guitars so I feel fairly confident and saying it is unlikely anyone is going to receive their guitars.

Thanks for blowing the whistle Jerry!

That is pretty disgusting to me. For decades, we had a really tight community. That is still pretty much true, but there seems to be an increase in the bad element here. Kind of like a bad neighborhood in a town.

I had the utmost respect for Carl. Bright guy, willing to share. But this probably puts him in the same neighborhood as that Don Steam-engine dude.

My opinon only.

I can't see anything wrong with airing your grievance here. Whether it be a scam or just poor business practice, it's good of you to let other potential clients know of your dissatisfaction.

I know nothing of this person or this situation, but I have found in the past that there are those with services and products with less than desirable communication.

Maybe great musicians, but not so great merchants.
