I want to publicly thank my buddy Ricky for helping me with a ShoBud problem today. He reminded me about a problem not too commonly encountered that was inhibiting the 1st sting raise a whole step on a Pro 1. Thanks again amigo! |

Is it a different problem than the finger hitting the end of the body cutout? (because that is the one that I know) |

That would be it. I've had that problem a couple of times but in these days of CRS it took Ricky to remind me. Great quote from him "Nobody at Shobud ever carried a measuring tape in their pocket...ha"  |

Since when is eyeballing not good enough?! Ha.
Yeah--I took a chisel to my 6160. I was grateful that it was so simple a fix, no matter how destructive it feels to remove wood from a 40 year old instrument. |
