Just got back from visiting Harry Jackson the heart an soul of Sho Bud guitars. He showed me the pot metal changer fingers that over time had worn from friction. He made new top fingers an installed Ball barrings at the rube points. I’m looking for old Sho Bud for Harry to rebuild for me. Get That Sweet sho bud sound an play like a dream. What more wood u want. He shared his knowledge on pull release Maverick s he can set those up to play an sound very well. Do some things to the maverick you would have to see to believe. Between Harry an David Jackson the vast knowledge An wealth of experience is a critical to the steel guitar world. If it’s been done they are the.Ones who set the bar.

Met Harry at the TSGA Show...he was just the nicest fellow, for taking the time, and sharing some of his ideas and opinions on his favorite Sho~Bud models and features. I’ll never forget that!
