Ive been using C6 and E13 tunings on my Fender dual 8. Are there any suggestions for better tunings or a more useful on a two neck 8

It depends on which versions of those tunings. E13 or E6 with high G# and C6 with high G would be best for folk/country and swing,I think. A6 would be a beefier version of the C6 and would be good contrast to the higher pitched voicing of the E13 with high G#. You’d be like Speedy West!

What you have is fine, but I'd also say try A6 with your E13/E6, lotta old country and Western swing players used it. Also if you are using low C6 you can re-tune easily between that and A6.

One more vote for A6 and E13.

Depend what kind of folk music you want to play. For some styles, the 6th tone just gets in the way.

Perhaps, but you sure want that 6th when playing the "swing" stuff.
