I know nothing about PSGs other than it is time for me to own one. I am buying this guitar that I've provided photos of. I sent these photos to the MSA Co and they said this is a homemade unit using only "some" MSA parts. They may not know their old guitars as the company seems to be "New". No disrespect to them. Or of course they are correct.
Someone had suggested that this guitar was re-bodied. I've no problem with that.
I am appealing to those on this forum who may know what this is. Thank you all for your help.

That looks to be mostly a mid '70s MSA Classic (with a few non-MSA parts). I'd guess the body has been redone, as I've never seen an old solid wood MSA with those type of inlays. Fretboards are obviously SB replacements, and it has the second-design MSA double raise/lower changer. This was the precursor to their Classic XL model.

yep, looks mostly like an MSA "prettied up" to look more like a Sho Bud.. Nice enough guitar actually. However, it has what looks like adjustable lower return springs, not an MSA feature during those years, so to me, all bets are off on whats original to this particular guitar.. bob
