My new D-10 MSA Millenium will arrive today. It will have BL XR16 pickups. Does anybody have any comments about MSA Millenium guitars? They can be pro or con.

You will be very pleased w/ your new MSA. I have the 10-1 pick ups and had to change amps to get the tone I was looking for. What a great guitar. Enjoy.

Mike, do a Forum search on Millenium and you'll get loads of commentary.

The MSA's are great steels. By the way, do you still have your other steels for sale?

Mike I'd say it was a little to late to worry about it. Enjoy your guitar...

I love mine. Both of them. I live in Dallas and I visit with the folks at MSA fairly often. I was there today looking at a D12 Legend being assembled.
I have had my first one for 3 years, and it is for sale now, because... I just had to have a new one. When the used one sells, I will be buying a Super Slide.

I think you will be thrilled with the design, workmanship, and playability. Mr. Johnny Cox and Kyle Bennett will personally make sure that everything is right.

My guitars are S12U. I haved tried the E66, 12-1, True Tone, and the XR16. Each has its own sound. The quick change pickup door makes it easy to really compare. Most of the time I prefer the 12-1. My favorite is the True Tone, but sometimes the hum is to much. I think the E66 is too bright for me. IMHO.
The XR16 has a clear round tone. Very nice.

The MSA team are really tops in the service dept. I don't own a Millineum and haven't even sat down to one yet but, I do have a 12 string Super Slide and its a fantastic guitar. Reece, Kyle, Stan, and Johnny do a great job of seeing to it that everything is just right on their instruments. Enjoy your space age horn man.
