| I have a friends MCI D-10 8x7 that needs a good cleaning and going through and set up. Does anyone have a recommendation of someone in the know pertaining to MCI Steels. Thanks |

Mickey Adams is in Bandera and breaths steel guitars.

I second that about Mickey Adams. Bandera isn't exactly Northeast TX, but you won't find a nicer guy or better steel guitar mechanic in my opinion.
Steve Lamb Ft. Worth TX. He is a professional Luthier by trade. He is a forum member and was (I think) the Lead production guy at MCI when they were in business in Arlington.
Jim Smith, also a forum member, is in the DFW area. I do not know if Jim does repair work, but he built MCIs for awhile, including the MCIs that Buddy E himself was so partial to.
Or farther south, Jim Flynn in Salado, TX.
