Hello my friends

Quite a few of you have ask if I was going to be in Dallas this year. I thought I would take this opportunity to bring you up to date on what has been going on with me in the past few months.
Back on November 1st, 2017, the day before my birthday, I was diagnosed with Tonsil Cancer. Basically I had two lymph nodes and a spot on my tonsil that were cancerous. Very shortly after I got the news, I felt God grab my arm, and say “Come on Son, we got thisâ€. He then gave me two huge blessings. Just a few days later, the Doctors confirmed that with this particular cancer, there is a high 90% chance of a total cure with 6 weeks of treatments and no surgery. God also blessed me with the exact team of Doctors that I so badly wanted at Vanderbilt.
I have completed all my treatments, the last one being about 6 weeks ago. It has been a heck of a journey. I am on the mend, the doctors say I’m healing great, but it’s been a slow process. However, I’m gaining a little ground each day. I am proud to say that God has been with me every step of the way, just as he said he would. Also I am so thankful for the Angel he sent to take care of me, my sweet wife Joanie. She has been there for me 24/7.
Joanie and I will sure miss seeing everyone in Dallas. When I get back up to snuff, I hope to do a few steel shows again.
May I ask you to please pray for my continued healing and that my future scans show “MISSION ACCOMPLISHEDâ€.
God Bless each and every one of you,
Mike
