Does anyone know where in California you can get your pedal steel guitar worked on, fixed or adjusted?
Thanks.

California is a big place... did you have a particular area in mind?

I just wanted to narrow it down to my state. ...Bay Area.

THE place to go in California is Jim Palenscar's place in Oceanside (southern CA).

Tom Bradshaw is somewhere up north--also listed under "Links" (Steel Guitar Vendors) at the top-right of the Forum pages. In SoCal, there's (as Jim C. said) Jim Palenscar in Oceanside and Blackie Taylor in Riverside.

If this is about your Wright, I think Jim Palenscar is perhaps your best bet, although not close. I know he is the go-to guy for Sierra parts. He might have Wright parts. I think he posted on your thread about that Wright, saying he has one.... if my memory is still working.
Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

Yeah, Tom Bradshaw lives in Walnut Creek.

What are you trying to work on? Are you in the East Bay?

It's 500 miles from the Bay Area to Oceanside. That's a lot of driving. If you want to take the guitar to Jim, you might want to take the train. There is an Amtrak station in Oceanside.
