Today the Big E would've turned 81.
I'm going to give his memory a minute of silence and then throw some Emmons into the player and... well, probably cry a bit.
I miss my friend and saddle pal, Buddy Emmons.

I remembered today was Buddys birthday. As a steel player, living in a world with out him is sure different. I remember seeing him for the first time in 1981 at the ISGC. I was like a kid in a candy store. |

Some people were born to be Doctors -Truck Drivers - Welders -- Big E was born to be a STEEL PLAYER. He could say more with 50 notes in a song than a lot of people do with 500. I also miss him every day, what a gift he was. LONG LIVE THE KING. PH |

Well said, Pat. Couldn't have said it better. We will never be able to repay the debt we owe him. _________________ Rains D-10 8X8 Black
