Seems like every year it sneaks up on me. In the past they took reservations at the end of the show for the next year but I haven't been able to get them to do it lately. If you're not set on having a hotel room and you have a smartphone, try downloading and looking through the app AirBNB. I rented out a room in someone's house and am staying for $25/night within ten minutes of the Sheraton. They have all sorts of options like renting entire houses, apartments, guest houses, or even just renting an individual room or floor in an occupied house and sharing common spaces with the homeowner. It's a reliable way to find places that are usually much cheaper than hotels and has become really popular because of price and convenience. It wasn't too hard to find a place close to the Sheraton and then you generally have a lot more amenities as opposed to staying in a room in a hotel; certainly much more comfortable in my opinion. Just another option, hope it helps!
