Pedal board power supply, rechargable
Do any of you have any experience with rechargeable pedal board battery power packs, like the Volto or MXR DC Brick? Are they reliable?
To write with a broken pencil is pointless.

Time out.
".....rechargeable pedal board battery power packs, like the Volto or MXR DC Brick?"
There is a rechargeable version of the MXR DC Brick?
Link please.
FWIW, in the latest issue of Guitar Player there is a review of a power supply that is either rechargeable or USB powered, I'm not sure which as I merely skimmed the article.

I just recently bought a Volto 3 rechargeable power supply. I don't use it with my main pedal board, but I did mount it on a very small board with a A/B switch and a MXR 6 band EQ pedal. So far I've been able to do 4 gigs between charges... I use it to EQ, and switch between a 1936 National lap steel, and my Carter 12 U.
I'm real pleased with the results. Here's a forum link to a picture of my setup, posted in the non pedal section.

I traded in my old v1 Volto for the newest green Volto. This weekend I played an outdoor 2 hour high temperature gig with my pedalboard that carries 9 pedals including digital delay and reverb. At the end of the two sets the power LEDs still read 3 out of 3 bars. It had hours of power left in it. It also cured a hum I was dealing with (when I originally hooked up my wall wart). Whatever conflict my amp had with the wart on the power strip became moot and my rig was perfectly quiet.
I will now carry the wall wart only as backup. Big thumb's-up. Impressive.
