Does anybody have a CD or tape recording of the record that was included with his book? The plastic record that came with my book has been missing for a long time!

Sandy,
If Ray can't help, maybe I can. I have an old cassette of that record somewheres if I can find it...
I'll be out of town for a week or so, but after that I could work it.

Sandy,

I'll try to digitalize it with my new minidisc recorder (if I can get it away from my wife!!) I have only played the record once (owned it years ago and played that copy out). At very least I can make a cassette and mail it to you.

I have a CD which I digitized from the original floppy recording in the book.

I was not the first owner of the book and record, and the previous owner unfortunately damaged the record so "She Thinks I Still Care" is pretty much unplayable .

A search for Winnie Winston Pedal Steel Guitar also gives you several options where you can buy a book with CD copy for about $15 (plus shipping of course). I understand you already own the book, but an extra copy of something so useful and getting it with a CD would be worth having.

If I remember correctly, a few years ago there was a forumite who was offering a recording of all of the music that is not on the recording that comes with the book.

I did a search, but couldn't find the thread. I'd like to get ahold of one of those recordings, and I'm sure there are more than a few others who would also.

I think that's a good price at Wal-Mart.
A copy sold on eBay a while back for more than that, plus shipping.
