Looking for Push/Pull #1346

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to track down a guitar that belonged to my Dad and hoping that someone might be able to help.

It's an Emmons D-10 fat back with glossy rosewood mica, which he purchased new in 1970, Ser# 1346. Dad passed a few years ago and left the guitar to me. I had to sell it about 5 years ago to pay some medical bills and sold it to Mike Cass who restored it. I don't have any pics of the guitar after Mike restored it but I'm sure he did a great job.

I had hoped to find it mainly to know it's whereabouts and maybe even buy it back at some point.

It was the first Pedal Steel I ever played and didn't want to sell but had no choice.

If anyone can help me at least locate it, I would be very grateful! Thanks in advance!!

Really hope that you are successful tracking you dad's Emmons down Buck. You may wanna also post in the For Sale and Wanted to Buy areas of the Forum, just to ensure the word gets out.

Fingers crossed...

If it is anything like my PP #1342 I can see why you want it back, tone to the bone.

If ya'll have a minute, call all your PSG player friends who aren't on the forum & ask them if they have any info about this guitar. Let's go the extra mile & help Buck get his Dad's steel back.
Just my 2 cents.
Pat

Buck, have you posted this on FB or any of the steel sites as well? A lot of exposure and also many of the older guys that worked on the PP's kept notes of configuration, serial numbers, who's guitar and who bought/sold, copedant etc.

Thank you Kevin! In this case I know who did the work but he doesn't have any recollection of where the guitar went. Appreciate your thoughts very much!
