Here is a link to the "MULLEN" website:
http://www.mullenguitars.com/ There is a page with pictures of players and their "MULLEN" pedal steels. "MULLEN" is a great product. I don't have a "MULLEN" pedal steel, but I have played one. I would be proud to own a "MULLEN".

I've played Mullen Guitars for years. The one I play has many hours & miles on it and still plays as well as when it was new. The pickups, are Mullen which I'm very pleased with the tone I get. You can't go wrong with Mullen.

Billy, I have a Mullen D10 that I bought new from Billy Coopers Music in 1995. This is a great guitar. The pedal action is smooth and easy, and the original Mullen pickups sound great.

So what is it about the name Mullen that makes so many people want to add a 'S' to the end of it? Is it just because Emmons has an S on the end of his name?
Don't mean to sound like I am picking on Mr.Jenkins, this is a very common mistake on this forum.

Possibly a brain mistake caused by infrequent exposure to the name "Moon Mullins". It's the only other time in life the word may be heard I think. The only ones I've ever seen were on TV and the logo was hard to read.
[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 15 June 2005 at 12:25 PM.]

I am very fortunate to have 2 Mullen. [It's ok to say Mullen if there's more than one!] The '94 lacquer/wood neck/polish pkg. has stock pups wound to 17.5Kohms.

The '96 basic black mica/alum has Mullen 22K pups.

Both w/ 8+8. They both play great and sound fabulous. Unfortunately, due to a money crunch, looks like I'm gonna have to give one up.

I took delivery of a D-11 9 & 8 in Rosewood Mica in August '91. It's still a beauty, plays delightful and sounds heavenly. I keep saying I wish I could think of an excuse to buy a new one but I love this one. Del's guitars are a labor of love for him and his crew.

I have a Mullen U-12 also, you can check it out on their web site under guitar pictures. It is the "purple-heart with cross" next to the sunburst which was also mine. Plays great, tone to the bone, it's a Mullen!
