Not really. The same construction but the pickups on my 60's PP's are wound with heavier wire and have a lower resistance the the LeGrande pickups. They sound different also. Both sound great. _________________ Bob |

What's the difference between the student-model Emmons pickup and the pro-model pickup? _________________ Emmons & Peavey |

Steven,
The main difference it the height. The student model pickup is not as tall and as such has fewer windings. It also mounts directly to the plastic plate that is used to mount the tone and volume circuitry, rather than an adjustable plate, as is on the pro models. _________________ Best regards,

So, with more windings, is the pro-model "hotter"? Does it sound better? _________________ Emmons & Peavey |
