been recording myself today,,the last time i did was about 7 months ago,,i practice a few songs for awhile then put it down in 1 take on a little 4 track,,the tape from 7 months ago is Horrible,,while the one today is not too bad,big tone improvement,,lots of new licks,,volume pedal is alot better,,been playing average of 4 hours a day for those 7 months,,that's 840 more hours,,i was gonna quit the last time i recorded myself,,sure glad i stuck it out,,,i figure at almost 3 years now i've got,,2700 hours in,,in 10 years that's about 10'000 hours,,i'm thinking at about 5000 hours it starts getting pretty good,,so for all you beginners like me,,stick with it,,it will get alot better,,,,thanks

Willie.. just hang in there.. Its a tough instrument to get a handle on.
The more hours behind it= better ability to play it. I think you have a great attitude!!
I am glad you didn't give it up.. from what you posted here, I think you are going to be just fine!! bob |
