neck position- numbers on both sides?

Post by Dennis Hilsabeck »

Why is the E9 neck put on the top neck?
Also as A new person I find it really hard to have to look from one side to the other to see what string I am on with the tablature. I got a song from one player and he has the numbers on both sides, which is a lot easier to learn with and he has been the only one so far to do this.
Why don't others do this?

perhaps this might help Dennis, to get used to 10 stringed tabs
i trace a coloured line on string 5 throughout the chart or tab as a guide

Danged good idea Crowbear. If I was smarter I would have thought of it. It's even more confusing on my sd-12.
