I'm in the New York Times.

Sorry that I'm so inept but I can't see how to add a link using just my tablet.

The article is about Medora, North Dakota and I'm quoted a few times. There's also a photo of me and the Emmons.

Does anyone here have the ability to seek it out on their website and post the link on this thread?

Enjoyed that Roger. And they got "pedal steel guitar" right, too!

That really gave my day a big lift. Congratulations Roger! 3 Cheers for "Badlands Rettig" looking pretty cool, calm, and collected behind that Emmons.

Thanks, you guys.

I would have preferred no political slant but journalists are clever and can draw stuff out if you without you realising. She didn't misquote me, though, and seemed to be prepared to give the Medora Musical a fair chance.

The photographer took dozens of closeups of the Emmons (she'd bever seen a steel before) but I like the fact you can see me in the pic.

Good piece. And congratulations, Roger, on the end of a long run.

Nice article, Roger. Congrats on a great long run. How will they get along without you? Must have been a wonderful gig, but long summers without a break, and a long way from home.

Too bad they didn't share more close-ups. You cut a dashing figure sitting at your Emmons!

I felt sympathy for "The Sheriff."

The New York _______ Times, man! Quite an article, quite a production.
I thought you acquitted yourself well on the a-political comments, Roger. It's only music.

Thanks for posting this article Roger, she has indeed written an interesting story.
How I would love to get a chance to see this show and the area you work in.
Great to see the photograph of yourself on stage and read your comments.
Pity these shows are not televised or are they?

Congrats on your very nice "ink" in the NYT!

Brightened up my Sunday morning and great to see your picture and read of your experience there, which after 13 years running must have been a good one. Who'll "pick" up after you leave?

(On a random note, the "Mr Bubble" connection was interesting!IS there any evidence of him in the show or in the town?)

Roger, After all the summers, I said my wife and I would come up to Medora and see you and the band perform, it never happened. Hopefully we will catch you in Florida.

Congratulations for all those long summers on the stage in a place that, in many ways, must resemble the Moon.
