MSA date question for Reece.

I recently acquired what had at one time been an S or D-10 that somebody converted to an S-12, and in the process, obliterated the serial number. The guitar is a wood body, but it does not have the silk-screened fretboard and MSA logo. Instead, it has the same external pieces that were attached to the earlier mica guitars.

My guess is that this guitar was made around 1976. Of course, without a serial # it's impossible to say for certain.

When did you start making wood body guitars? and when did you start silk-screening the fretboards and logos?
