Lloyd Maines Interview

Post by Steve Dawson »

Aside from the Lloyd Green interview I posted about recently, I did one with Lloyd Maines as well that would be interesting to steel players. Lots of cool info about the Texas music scene and playing steel for Joe Ely, etc. Here's the link:

I have one coming up with Greg Leisz too - I'll post it when it's ready.

Steve, thanks so much for the interview with my old pal Lloyd. Texas in the 70's was a great place to play steel guitar. Great memories.

BTW, at the end of the interview when Lloyd is talking about Wayne Hancock, we can hear a lot of the excellent Rose Sinclair playing her Stringmaster guitar.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
