Push pull pickup mount question

I am out of town and helping a friend reassemble a PP.
We are confused with his single coil pickup mount plate.
There are 4 screws to mount the PU to the plate but there is a bump on the bottom of the PU so it can not sit flat on the plate.

He has 3 screws with 3 collars and 3 springs for PU height adjustment.

Can anyone tell us where the 3 collars / spacers go?

The PU won't mount on the plate flat.

There should be four spacers, they go between the tabs on the pickup and the base plate
