I've been playing with a C6th lick that I partly coped off of Jernigan the last 2 weeks. It will work off a 1 or 5 chord, so that makes it an even better lick for your arsenal. No pedals used.
If you use it on a 5 chord, you have to make sure it ends on the root note. I'm doing this one in the key of E. The lick starts on the 12th fret a half tone up from the 5 chord (B). Key of E.

Bud, I'll see what I can do. I played it slow the second time for those that want to use their ear.
From experience, I feel that it trains your ear and let's you learn your guitar by using your ear for a lick, but I've done both and see the value in tab. Tab doesn't give the feel.

an alternate way of looking at 'the starting point of the lick' might be to recognize that the 6th string (as well as the 2nd string) at the 12th fret is an E note.
