I need a Derby mechanic,to tell me how to get the cross shafts out of cabinet,thx

Well, the pedal cross-shafts have a spring loaded pin in one end or the other, I forget which. You kind of have to work that pin back up inside the shaft for it to clear the bushing. Maybe a pocket screwdriver blade, or drill a small hole and work the pin back with a small pick.
Then, you have the center rail to deal with. Sometimes you can loosen up enough screws in it and/or remove enough parts to work the shaft out.
Or cut it in two if you aren't going to reuse it, but they're stainless steel...so.. |
