Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm asking for a friend of a friend. Anybody know what this monster is? The FoF got it from Honolulu. It's cast Aluminum cover with steel undercarriage and big enough to be at least 8-string capable.

Thanks! Google-ating some images of Wright guitars seems to confirm this. Is the pickup in the same quality ballpark as other Birdseye maple guitars (say, made around Downey, CA) of the era?

Its a good pickup . But its not a Bigsby.
Chuck used the same pickup for 8 and 10 strings.
