The other Sunday in our little wooden church on the hill, we sang the "New Doxology". This song is a different version than the original that I was familiar with. The words we sing to the Doxology or "Praise God from whom all blessings flow" were written by Thomas Ken in 1674.
This new version of the Doxology was written by Thomas Miller in 2008.
I will mail this song out, at no cost, to whomever would like to give praises to the Lord with this song. It is written for E9th pedal steel.
Make a joyful noise on an instrument of 10 strings! |

Psalm 33:2 - Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Tim,
Psalms 92:3 and Psalms 144:9 also mentions an "instrument of 10 strings".
