No stories, but i've heard, and met some great steel players there. Julian Tharp, Roy "Hot Licks" McCoy, and his Sho~Bud, and Scotty among several others. Roy chewed on a cigar while he played. Those were the days.

I played there once, a fill in, in early 72. I got the usual "Broadway Wages" - $15 for the gig.

I believe the club's actual (if not linguistically correct and still photo notwithstanding) spelling is/was "Deemen's Den". Might make searches work better.
