This listing is for a vintage Fender 400 Pedal Steel Guitar, all its parts and the original hard shell case.

These old cable Fender steels are a piece of steel guitar history and have a sound all their own.

Cosmetically the guitar has seen better days as it has been extensively played but functionally everything is there and working properly. The Changer fingers move freely and have a solid return as the springs are all still in good shape. It's not the prettiest example but it sure sounds great!

The case is in poor condition and has been wrapped in leather long ago. It still holds the guitar but it has definitely seen better days.

The suggested setups from Fender are C6, A6 or 8 String E9. It is currently tuned to C6 but can easily be changed to the setup that suits your play style.

Thanks for Looking!!!

My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

A '58 Fender 400 that's been setup to be a player and looks like it's been played half to death, so it still has another 60 years left on it.

Looks like this Fender is another victim sent to the "glue factory" on eBay....damn! It is being parted out by one of the guitar chop shops.
