Plastic Bar Tubes
Does anyone have a source for replacement plastic storage tubes that tone bars are sold in? I like to keep my bars in the tubes, and have the tubes secured in a custom opening i built into my case. Keeps them in place and prevents the bars from banging around and getting scratched up. Trouble is, the plastic tubes fail in a couple of months leaving my bars case less. It seems that most bar manufacturers use those plastic tubes, so I'm sure there's a wholesale source. I tried google and no bueno? Is anyone out there as OCD as I am and knows where to get 'em? Thanks!

What I use to protect my bars is a folding, padded case which is actually intended to transport spare mouthpieces for trumpets, trombones, etc. Available from most of the online music stores. The double case I use for gigs (one compartment for my bar, one for picks which are housed in a plastic film case). Also purchased a quadruple unit for spare bars and picks...Many thanks to the member who posted this suggestion a while back.
