Can someone remind me the name of of the thumbpick that has a slender and short tip that is slotted on two sides? Visualize someone making two slits on a regular pick, thus leaving an 1/8" tongue. Heck, I'd post a picture if my last one had not fallen victim to the cleaning lady's vacuum. I need to get some a.s.a.p. and I don't know who stocks them.

Thanks!

Lawrence, from your description, My guess is that it is Fred Kelly's Speed Pick. I just bought one to try out just for kicks, got it from Elderly Instruments. You can find it on their website.
If this is it, they show one that is green, but when I received mine it was blue. I didn't care.

Yes, Fred Kelly, yes Elderly. They are color coded for size and weight.

Stubby White thumb picks huh? I'd like to have some, how do I get a hold of old "Stubby" to get some? How long has he been making them?
I knew ole' Stubby when he was a kid.

Ah, Mr. Seymour, if only you still had his number, you could have tossed a couple in the package with my new pedal. Mr. White remains a mystery. But what about Mr. Pink? Nobody wants to be Mr. Pink.

When I first got Stubby's number (long time ago) it was just double digit. (like my social security number!)
We didn't even have electricity back then, just rubber hoses running between houses, worked great, I loved being able to blow water down the phone line to get the "tele marketeers". You could smell stuff on the phone too! Sometimes good, sometimes not so good!~
