Looking for s-10 3&4 beginner

Post by Zac Bamer »

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and new to pedal steel guitars. I play almost any instrument you put in my hands from drums to fiddle but mainly lead guitar. I have sat on the idea for a month and still want to shoot at it. Luckily I have had some help from an old steel player from my dads band, so he gave me decent information.

Looking for a starter!
Single 10 at e9 Nashville standard tuning
3 pedals 4 knees (sounds high for a beginner but I plan to take this far)
My spending point is around $1000, not high but I know it's enough to find a decent carter starter at minimum.
Based close to Austin texas, though I spend a lot of time in Hobbs New Mexico on work so if you are in Austin I can pick up, rather not ship only because of past issues with other things, thank y'all! Glad to be apart of the forum!
