i have fianlly got a steel to use after 10 years or so without playing. I was never a 'hot' player but did play with several local groups, etc.

anyway, i want to get back into it and also try to move to the next level (2) of skill. i feel that i need to improve on passing chords, scales and intros/turn-a-rounds and endings.

any suggestions on a web site and/or material i can print off of the web? good MP3 i can download to listen and practice with? free is bettter, but if its really good OK.

BTW: i am enjoying this site. see my new thread.

thanks,
Billy

Yes, passing chords, the real subtle, head turning, eyebrow raising, chin scratching part of hearing someone else play. Jim Loessberg's Ray Price course is great for Big E's Intros and Breaks. (Buddy's course is great too BTW), I just wish there was some source for all the other great stuff between those intros and breaks that I spend hours trying to find. Buddy's Chord Vocabulary is the closest thing I've found yet, but then my search hasn't exactly been "comprehensive".

Maybe if I had a C6 deck...
