Thanks for posting this, Ulrich. I'll have to see what I can steal from it! Most of the time I just play backup on fiddle tunes, but this is one where I'll dare to take a break after our 13 yr old fiddle player. I let her define the melody and do a banjo style roll in G6 tuning with the top D left open on the C and Am chords. At the speed she likes to play it, my chances of playing your arrangement are probably slim to none.

California Autumn, Rebel Records CD-1546 features both Mike Auldridge and Jerry Douglas on dobro. Jerry is credited with cuts 4 and 6 which are Billy in the Low Ground and Good Woman's Love. IMHO Jerry's style is similar to Mikes's at this point in his career.
