I heard something awhile back, probably on SteelRadio, perhaps from one of the Scotty's shows, where the performer played a huge medly of songs and announced and played the styles of Mooney, Green, Brumley etc. Anybody know who that was?

Lynn Owsley does that in his show. I don't recall exactly all the names he calls.

Heard Jeff Newman do that one year at St. Louis and did an excellent job of it too.

Koos Biel, Gerry Hogan, Andre Sommer and Nils Tuxen did one called "Steel, Steel, Steel" in their "United Steels of Europe" album, with honoring Lloyd Green, Tom Brumley, Herb Remington and a few others.
