I once sat down at a steel with Emmons setup on the floor pedals, but and it is a big but, the E lowering knee lever was left moving left. Have you ever tried to roll off the A pedal keeping your foot on the B pedal at the same time moving your knee left. If you can you are more flexable than I. Evidently someone changed the floors from Day to Emmons without knowing that has some impact on the knee levers.

The solution to that is just to put the E lower and raise on the right knee! I use that setup because it divides the majority of pedal work more evenly between both legs.

I've always used the Day floor setup, and I lower my E's on the RKR. I didn't add the E's to F raise until about 12 years ago, and the only place on my guitar I could find to put it was on the LKR. This setup works for me, although maybe a little odd.
