| Anyone know what a double neck in a semi-flight case weighs in kilos? |

Richard,your guitar and case will probably weigh in at around 36kgs. I would suggest you put the pedal bar,legs and rods in with your clothing,or,in a small grip and take on board as hand luggage. The Airlines will give you a hard time,and charge you plenty dollars when you exceed 20kgs in any one item
Long haul flights are different,they allow you 32kgs,and even then sometime turn a blind eye when you are over the top,but European Airlines,especially Low-Cost Airlines,want every cent they can squeeze out of you. I hope all goes well for you in Denmark. How about a Jazz version of "Green Glens Of Antrim", Im sure the Danes would love that eh!.......Regards Ted |

| It would probably be 25 kilos on the low side, and 35 on the high side (depending on the particular guitar and case). |

Airlines won't allow carry-on legs, rods, and pedal bars anymore.
Since they believe nail clippers can be used as weapons, there's no way to convince them a steel leg is harmless. |

| Ok my Zum D10 in a Bob Dell flight case weighs 34 kgs, and my MCI D10 in a similar type SKB wheeled case weighs 32kgs - I know these things cos I fly a lot. |

Hello Richard... 28 to 32 Kilos.. Most airlines allow TWO cases of 32 Kilos EACH for INTERNATIONAL flights.. I know 'cause Pat and I took a LOT of bagage to Hawaii in November..
