Lehle Volume Pedal

Post by Kyle Strauser »

Has anyone tried the new Lehle Volume pedal for steel guitar? If so, what did you think?

Looks like a armpit guitar pedal, with the pivot in the middle. More comfortable for standing operation.
Can't fault the electronics but for the money a steel player will likely be happier with a Hilton.
That's just from a quick googling.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

Googled and found it on Sweet Waters.
With the jacks on the front may work good for a Keyboard. For a steel guitar would require 90 degree plugs. Would set it back to far from the pedal bar for me.

They have just introduced a "Pedal Steel Model" with the input and output connections on the side at NAMM this weekend.

Thanks Jerry. It's new to me that they make a Pedal Steel Model now. I did some research and I think it must be this one here:

An advantage is that it has an output jack for an electronic tuning device.

Hi there!
Thanks a lot!
We got lots of requests by pedal steel players, so there was absolutely no doubt that we had to build one.
It will be available in the US at about June 2017.

Looking forward on your feedback!

Best regards from NAMM / Anaheim!
