I'm looking for an 8ohm 15" Neo speaker that is a good match for pedal steel guitar. It seems that most 15" Neo speakers are 4ohm that will work.
Any suggestions are are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance, Simon

I'd call Eminence. I'm sure they've got one that will sound good, but they don't market it to us because that's not what most of us want, much as the Alumitone is a bass pickup that works well on steel.

I had an Evans SE-200 amp at one time. It was rated 200 watts at 4 ohms, but came with an 8 ohm 15" Eminence 2515 neodymium magnet bass speaker. Worked good for pedal steel. I even considered putting one in the Nashville 400 I had at the time but the threaded speaker studs (screws) that Peavey used were too short and I didn't want to replace them (didn't matter as I bought a Nashville 1000 and sold both the Nashville 400 and the Evans SE-200).

Here is the link to the current Eminence Deltalite 2515

Thanks Jack for the heads up on the Eminence speaker. Looks like something I could use and the price is right for sure.

I ran into this problem as well. I decided to "standardize " my amps and cabinets to 4 ohms. I even changed an OT to 4 ohms to get them all the same. Much easier this way, and the neo selection is better.
