The following quote appeared in a recent post (Instruments).

Dan Burnham: "I've talked to Ron Lashley all week long. In fact, I ordered a reissued push pull last week."

What is this about a "reissue"? Am I missing something? Is this "reissue" new, or is it a rebuild of an old Emmons PP?

There was a "New Old Stock" Emmons PP for sale in the Emmons Room in St. Louis last September.

I believe that Ron Jr. said he came across some cabinets, parts etc. and may build a very limited quantitiy (i.e. as much as the newly-found inventory of parts will allow).

Of course, things like pedals, tuning keys, keyheads may be Legrande style, not original.

Bud,
From what I was told, Ron Senior had some of the original bodies that were never put together. All the parts for the guitars other than the bodies are new. These are not used parts but new parts that were never used. The bodies are around 30 years old and are a beautiful lacquered finish. Ron told me he had a few more left if anybody was wanting one. They are just selling what was never assembled.
