MSA Convention
Reece, Is there any plans in the future to have a MSA convention or a MSA family get together? How many MSA players would be interested?

Paddy, me lad, certainly understandable that an MSA convention would not be received too well there, however, with over 2000 MSA guitars made in some years, it's quite possible there are a few left somewhere. Without a dog in the hunt I don't think I would be too interested either. But Paddy if you make it to Dallas you're welcome to come out here and spend time with me. We'll treat you well.

Dave- I think it should be the decision of the principals of the company.
Although I might recommend to have it an annual affair at a different location each year. It could be its own thing or part of a convention/jam.
MSA could show new products and tell us what might be coming down the road, have seminars, guest artist, even a beginners session playing their MSA's, fun and games, bringing family and etc.
The new MSA company is in its early stages and might not want to take on an endeavor of this magnitude.
I also believe there should be a nominal fee to help support the event. They could also get sponsers from accessory manufactures.
How many people do you think would attend?
50,100 or more ?
If MSA decides to ignore the Idea, that's okay too as I still love playing my Millennium!!!

Richard,
Reece, Kyle, Jerry and I have discussed the general outline of such an idea, but getting the new company started and the attendant issues that accompany getting "up and running" have taken priority and the idea hasn't moved beyond the discussion stage.
If there was enough interest, now might be a good time to look at the idea more closely.
Now we need to find a place to put those 50,100 people you mentioned:-)
