Do any of you use 15" JBL Eon Speakers and a preamp for your steel guitar sytems?

I have used a JBL Eon with my steel. It has a punch on the lows and mids you can't hardly get otherwise. I run a tube pre-amp in line now through my old mid seventies Peavey Session 400. Man that gets a sound to kill for.
