Completely blown away

Post by Nathan Laudenbach »

I just stumbled on a Youtube video of Steve Cunningham playing "Scrapple from the Apple" on eight string lap steel................................. Never have I seen and heard such amazing playing. If anyone here can post the video here in this thread I would greatly appreciate it. WARNING! You may give up the steel guitar after watching this video.

Steve is one of our local players and is an absolute monster on lap steel and guitar.

He has several videos up on YouTube. It is worth your while to look at all of them

No fingerpicks! Guess I don't need to learn to play with them after all.

Looks like he uses a flat pick. Great playing and tone.

One of his videos is a C6 lesson showing a nice versatile blues/western swing lick.
