Well, I for one, am very, very happy for Lonnie. He is one among the uprising musicians, who deserves this honor among the Sacred Steel players. He has from the beginning, shown such a generous nature, and kindness to the younger musical generations, enabling those who had not the financial ability to be able to meet the costs that some of the instruments are valued at. He has done this by donating new, and rebuilt steels, to aid the younger musicians in their quest to keep our legacy alive, and growing. He has shown such a determination to support to Sacred Steel/Sacred Strings, that it is immeasurable. May God continue to smile upon "Big Ben", and his efforts to support Sacred Steel/Sacred Strings. By all means he should be inducted.
