Carter Starter amazing

Post by randy »

I play an Emmons for our gigs but I needed a second guitar to leave at church, so I bought a Carter Starter from Herbie. I'm 6'4" so I had to go way past the 1" extension kit. But here's the amazing part.

It's obviously not an Emmons but every time I sit down to tune it ... nothing has changed. I'm not exaggerating, absolutely no change on my Korg. This is week after week. I am impressed.

Hi Randy -

That doesn't surprise me. I received my new Carter Pro D-10 on April 10th of this year. It arrived almost perfectly in tune, after being bounced 1100 miles by UPS! Since then, I've only tuned the E9 neck twice and the C6 neck once. Also, I haven't broken a string yet.

Yep, Bud Carter does build a pretty amazing guitar. Image
