P/P experts, please help me determine the age of this Emmons S-10 push-pull, 6+4. It was my first professional PSG. I bought it used in 1980, played it for 12 years and foolishly sold it when I got my first D-10. I am negotiating to trade it back and I wonder how old this baby really is. This is what I remember:

- serial # 1117 S
- mahogany (possibly oak) mica full back body, single frame
- black flocking underneath
- split tail metal neck
- no patent number at the changer
- 6 wide cast pedals w/wide spacing
- 2-piece pedal rods (hook attached to the rod)
- 4 black knee levers (possibly post-production, but original Emmons parts)
- RKR lever w/out foldout extender
- 2 flat iron braces between aprons
- metal pedal stop rail
- changer tuning screws for open and lowers have plastic inserts, not red lock-tite
- glossy black fretboard w/thin silver fret lines and border
- Kluson tuners, oval heads
- brown Emmons plaque
- no decal on pedal bar
- case w/rounded corners and yellow plush lining, no support blocks for PSG

My guess is '67-'69.

Rainer

I have an S-10 Emmons with a serial number close to that, so I am curious to know when the guitar you are talking about was made so I can get a better idea of when mine was made also.
