Jack played for Ray Price for a year or two and was a great steel player. He played the steel on the original recording of Ray`s hit, INVITATION TO THE BLUES.

A number of years ago at ISGC I asked Buddy what happened to Jack Evins. He said that Jack quit playing steel and went into law enforcement and continued with it until he retired. Bobby Seymour told me that he was friends with Jack and that he saw him on occasion. Alas, all three of them are gone.
In the photo with Jack.....Ray Price, Don Law, and (?)Pete Wade.
