We recorded this track and I recently had vibes and percussion overdubbed. What you are hearing is the raw tracks, unmixed and unedited.
This is In Walked Bud by Steelonious. I am only leaving it up long enough for you to enjoy with a cocktail or Two.

Mike... that descending pattern in the beginning sounds a lot like the opening to Stairway to Heaven?!! Just kidding. It sounds great. Interesting and captivating, as always.

Cool. Loved the vibes / perc. / steel arrangement. Thank you for sharing and (in my case) glass of wine while listening.

Beginning to get an idea of the overall project with this arrangement. The vibes and bass are fleshing it out. Diggin it.

I played the aluminum Clinesmith on every track. It was the only steel I used.

I was able to get such a great variety of sounds with that instrument, from clean to dirty to in between. I also used several Fender amps.

They are incredible instruments. I have one with the blade pickup and I can't believe how much I love it. Actually, I love it so much that I ordered another one but with a horseshoe..variety is the spice of life!
I'm really enjoying the Steelonious nuggets that you're sharing.
