There are a number of very good closeups on his guitar. If you like this style, here's a master at work. Thanks for sharing!

I've been trying to copy some of Mr Ghent's licks.
In this video he appears to be tuned down a half step. His timing and feel are amazing, great player!

Del Ray,

I am often in Nashville and love to play the sacred steel style. I heard through the grapevine that Mr. Ghent might be doing some lessons and was interested in possibly trying to hook up with him, but when my email went unanswered. If you have any info please reach out to me by PM.

Thanks!

When I was first hipped to Sacred Steel back in the late 90s, it was Aubrey Ghent who really captured my ear and made me want to pursue that sound. Deep, deep soul.

Is that Kashiah on bass?

Hello gentlemen, many of you know that Aubrey lost his wife to cancer a few months back. Lori's death has been a slow and delicate process for Aubrey and his children to deal with. At this moment Aubrey could use your prayers as his health is now failing him.
